Over four weeks, we will explore the profound cultural contributions of the German-speaking world, from the masterpieces of classical composers and the groundbreaking works of visual artists to the timeless literature that has shaped global thought.
This course is tailored for students with at least one year or equivalent of German language experience. As we delve into the cultural heritage of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein, you will also enhance your German vocabulary, learning terms and phrases that are essential for discussing art, music, and literature.
Each session will focus on a different cultural domain, providing you with a well-rounded understanding of the German artistic and literary landscape. Engage in discussions, analyze significant works, and gain insights into the cultural contexts that produced these masterpieces.
